Our Community Partners: Colorado Symphony Promo Code

We are very excited to announce that our friends at the Colorado Symphony have given Shapiro Family Chiropractic its very own promo code to share with our wonderful patients, friends, family and general supporters! A lot of people don't think about how physically demanding being a professional musician is--being a big supporter of the arts, Dr. Shapiro wants to be a wellness resource for all musicians, helping them to improve their performances and aiding in the occurence of injury. Many musicians don't know how much chiropractic can help them--so as you share this code with friends and family, we ask that you also SHARE the word--that chiropractic helps people, and you can help them too by telling them about it! Alright, now that we've got that settled, let's get into the fine print on this promo code:

Out and About: Dr. Dave's Performance in the Colorado Ballet's "The Nutcracker"

If you ask Dr. Dave about his holiday season, you will undoubtedly hear about his role in the Colorado Ballet's performance of "The Nutcracker." Dr. Dave has spent countless hours working with the dancers in the ballet, so it was a huge honor for him to be invited to join them in this classic production.

Throughout December, he kept his role a secret amongst patients and friends--he was clearly excited, and wanted to share that with almost everyone that came in his office. At times it seemed almost goofy, but once that day came, all joking aside, seeing that performance would show anyone why Dr. Dave feels such honor and pride working with these athletes. The music of Tchaikovsky is exquisite, the sets glitter with intricacy, the costumes are amazing, but what is truly awesome is the physical ability displayed onstage. Some of these dancers have Olympian abilities, and the choreography clearly illustrates them. The powerful lifts and carries of the Nutcracker Prince and the Snow King, the towering jumps of the Russian dancers, and the seamless and seemingly unending pirouettes and fouettes are almost indescribable--there isn't anything quite like seeing them in person. It is amazing what the human body can do; this kind of art will send chills down your spine.

And so, on December14th at 2:00pm at the Ellie Caulkins Opera House in downtown Denver, Dr. Dave made his big debut, revealing his role as a Sherpa. As the Sherpa, he was charged to carry out the covered throne-carriage of the Arabian princess and then stand guard. The show went well, and memories were made.

If you didn't get a chance to take advantage of our discount promo to get 20% off The Nutcracker, you're in luck! The promo code is good for ALL PERFORMANCES, ALL SEASON LONG. For details go to www.shapirochiro.com/events
